Mailing Wallets - mailing envelopes for direct mailing machines
Mailing
wallets are essential for direct mail. The specially shaped flap
is automatically opened by mailing machines during the insertion
process.

Mailing Wallets
Gummed mailing wallets are available in a range of sizes to suit your
mailing. The most popular sizes are DL (110mm x 220mm) and C5 (162mm
x 229mm). Oversize mailing wallets that will take stadard size envelopes
(as the reply element) are also available, as are undersize DL envelopes
that will fit in a standard size DL or C5 mailing wallet.
Plain or printed mailing wallets are available with a window,
suitable for laser addressed letters, or without a window, suitable
for addressing direct on the envelope. Centreprint offer both

and fulfilment service for the complete mailing.

Printed
mailing wallets
We print millions of mailing wallets every year. All mailings will
require a printed postage impression printing on the envelope and
most people also have the return address printed in the top left
hand corner of the envelope, so that Royal Mail can return any gone-aways
to you.
Why
are mailing wallets gummed?
Mailing wallets are always supplied gummed, so that the mailing
machine can moisten them to seal after inserting. Self seal envelopes
are not used in machine mailings, although if you are inserting
your mailing piece by hand, you may prefer self seal pocket envelopes
(these have the flap on the short edge. Please ask for a
